Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering
Established in 1979, Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering (DSCE) is a private and autonomous college, located in Bangalore. It is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University and is run by the Mahatma Gandhi Vidya Peetha Trust (MGVP). DSCE is approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). It has also been accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) and the NAAC with Grade ‘A’. Recently, DSCE has also received recognition from the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR).
The college has been ranked 25, 43 and 73 for Architecture, Engineering and Private Engineering, respectively by India Today, 2020. At present, DSCE has 21 departments that collectively offer 15 UG and 13 PG courses in multiple specialisations. The college also has multiple professional societies and student clubs in all these departments that strengthen the industry-college interactions.
